Its a good conversation piece at the field and it always gets questions. Got back into paintball after a 15 year hiatus and I cant shake the bug. Need to add a few more private labels to the collection

Red/black is a "Normal" Ion

The one to the right of it is also a mech. It's my girlfriend's favorite marker. Then on the left is my virtue board ion, and the bottom 2 are mostly stock for backups and loaners.

Finally finished this build. This is pretty much like my first Ion from years ago, but probably better now. I got the teardrop barrel on there because it looks so nice.

I love this. I hope the trend keeps going. I'm waiting on an XE firing chamber to make mine easier to maintain so I don't have to deal with the 2 piece trigger frame every time I need to lube it.

Since mine doesn't have a noid anymore I just dump oil down the ASA and it's been fine so far...

I was actually thinking of doing this exact same thing. Either a Morlock or Chaos B2K board with a Mac33.

When's the last time you saw one of these bad boys? They were so close, if only the magazine was functional, maybe this would have been a game changer. Instead we got an Ion wrapped in a plastic turd. Nonetheless, my girlfriend has already shown a liking to it, and it might become her primary when I mech it.

FBM i believe. Its a body, and the snatch grip is a separate rail. Pretty sweet, and if you need, you can tenderize meat with it!
