Gen 1 female MaxFlow rebuild questions

So I am currently having a problem with rebuilding my gen1 female MaxFlow. Essentially it is leaking out of the front of the asa, where the domed flathead notched nut is located, that retains the internal asa piston (I'll have to get pics cause my description blows). It seems it will not screw in all the way, which I assume means I screwed something up.

In any case, does anyone have the original manual or a general rebuild guide or advice on these old beasts?

I have all the original paperwork with my PV1. It includes breakdown and rebuild info and diagrams of the MaxFlo. If you need pics I can get some.

Yes please! That would be an awesome help. I have a feeling there is a missing seal, and I missed it because either 1) I didn't notice 2) the last guy didn't notice making me think it wasn't needed.

I somehow found another MaxFlo manifold in a parts bin. On the front of the asa piston there is a recessed seal. My guess is the manifold mounted on my shoebox is dead.

hey man willing to sell some of the parts of that extra max flow? i over tighten a tank and somehow scratched the area around where the oring seals and now it leaks badly

I have a feeling that you can use an oring - it's likely just flat from age - given that every other seal in a MaxFlo is a non-proprietary oring. It wouldn't make sense to NOT use one.
