Are Eyes Required with Blackheart Board?

I have a Blackheart board here that will not turn on (no LEDs). I am missing the eye wire for it, and I'm wondering if having the eyes connected (but not necessarily on) is a required part of the circuit. I've gone over the board with a multimeter, and everything seems kosher, so other than the eye wire, I'm stumped.

Any help would be appreciated.

I ran my extcy with eyes turned off but never tried physically disconnecting them.

The vision board does not have to be connected for it to turn on. What board is it for. ( shocker, impulse, ect).

No, you do not need a set of eyes connected. You could have a bad on-off switch, a dead cap, or broken power wires.

The on/off switch is an easy test with a meter. It’s most likely a bad smd capacitor. Set your meter to audible ohms (buzzer/ring tone) and test the capacitors. They should not ring out. If one does it’s bad. The capacitors have a grey or brown center and black center with numbers.

Checked the wires, button and capacitors (they're all labeled c1-c3 right?), and everything was fine.
