So, I’m getting back into the game, this time with my 15yr old for him to try. This means I need two working guns. Fortunately, I managed to pick up an Empire Dfender and, it is working properly. That leaves the Woodstalker Ion. Once I get it back up and running, I’ll be sure to post my ‘arsenal’ in the Collectors Corner. I'll get a current state pic tonight.
Here’s the list of its features:
Several O-rings in the gun, hardened or got gummy. Notably, the o-rings in my Macroline fittings went rock hard. My Epiphany-rated QEV O-ring (red, seals against the breach) completely molded itself to fill the entire space yet, it still holds pressure. All of the internal airlines are in good shape and holding pressure.
The electronics (the OLED and the board in general) are still working fine but, the Solenoid has run into problems. It worked briefly when I test fired it but, the soft face had gotten slightly gummy enough to occasionally stick. My replacements (have one un-used one and, one that was lightly use) appear to be too hard to seal.
The Warp Feed and the 2-Liter are doing great. With a couple drops of Outlast, the reg is holding a solid 150psi without flinching when I cycle the gun.
Presently, the gun is waiting for new (old stock) armatures via Ebay. Wish me luck.
