Similarities between the Ion and eNMEy

I want t make some bodies for my Ion but (of course) there aren't any STLs/models out there for me to tinker around with. Lots of people say they are really the same thing ( with the exception that it's EP vs Mech.) So with the similarities, has anyone ever slid an Ion firing can into an eNMEy body? If they are close enough, I can take some eNMEy body files and convert them to Ions. I just don't want to get remodeling and blow a bunch of time if it won't fit. Anyone have insight on dimensions?

They are different. The eNMey uses the same core as the SP1/Vibe and others. The Ion core is shorter and slightly larger in diameter.
I could not get an Ion core into an SP1 body or vise versa.

Are you talking about the bolt stop? They're different between classic Ions and the BOB variants but the bolts are the same AFAIK.

I'm not worried about the guts, just the firing can diameter compared to the shells/bodies.
