mech ion plans?

Hi

I bought an epiphany gun and an ion xe the last week. I will keep the epiphany With the virtue board and I want to mechanize the ion.

Does anyone have plans to do this? I need to do the place to put the second o'ring at my work shop but I haven't a model. Same thing for the 3-way bracket.

If you are modding your bolt, just call Stanchy. He quoted me 5 bucks plus shipping to mod bolts for a second tail.

He had a fixture made to make it a few minutes work.

Otherwise I dont think theres blueprints out there as it was being sold as a kit. Its pretty simple. Input air to the back of the firing chamber, and to the SMAV valve.

Then switched smav air (NC) to the front of the firing chamber.

Essentially removing air from the front bolt makes it go bang.

I and or others here can help ya Im sure, but if you do a little digging its out there on the net.

NO, not NC... you want air going through the SMAV normally, so use the NO port.

I'm in process of building my 3rd mech, but this 3rd one isn't going to be a normal Ion. Ts getting stuffed into a different body. I did all mine as kit-less setups, but it's pretty much the same as what the 2fgpb and ssc setups are. If all your hoses are sound, all you need is a length of cocker microline to go from the SMAV 3 up to the 1/8" banjo PTC fitting. (Not all cocker hoses are equal, YMMV. ) Other than that, all you need is a tbarb to get a 3way junction from the front and rear 4mm hoses to feed to the 1/8 hose.

Now that I think of it... We've got a large influx of Mech Ion threads. I'm going to start a thread about what you need to do a conversion. 😁
