Also, anyone got a spare T-33-2? Clippard only sells them in large quantities and there's a 20 day lead time.
...or the guts out of a broken SP-1 Solenoid? I've got an intact housing but I'm missing the moving seal piece.Last edited by The Inflicted; 11-03-2024, 12:55 PM.

Mettle Air stocks something similar.

You could buy a Dye Rize or Rail solenoid (2011 or later) and mod the cap to fit. The disc armature will work as well as the cap. Or you could replace the entire solenoid with a Rize noid. This thread has the details
I saw a clean eXTCy with L7 bolt and QEV already installed for $95 shipped so I bought it, vaguely aware that they often had some solenoid issues but not realizing how bad the problem was. First thing I did when it arrived was disassemble it and inspect the solenoid cap, which appeared fine, so I cleaned and lubed the marker

I won’t comment on a diy attempt. SSC is local to me and charges $10/bolt for the dual tail mod. It’s worth it to me to meet him at the local field and just trade cash for work.

Is Stanchy still in the biz? I can't get him to return my emails.
