Crossover Electronics Issues

Ok now I'm thinking it might be a battery problem. The battery light is sometimes showing low battery even though it's a fresh battery and putting it in other time a will show it's fine. The low battery indicator also flades out faintly after the gun shuts off. I've tried multiple fresh energizer batteries and shimming them with a bit of cardboard underneath to ensure its a good connection and still nothing.

Do you need to screw the board into the grip frame for the crossover? You could have a grounding issue, try removing any screws holding the board in and try with a fresh battery.
Put the selector switch into manual/off position before removing or installing the battery.

Seems that if I hold in the board just to the right of the top grip screw then it works. I assume that is the area of the board where it interfaces with the selector switch? I'll have to get a new magnet and see if that does it. I really prefer physical contacts over this HE crap.

Most likely, that tells me the trigger position is not correct. There is a screw to adjust the magnet position on the trigger. Small turns do a lot and you don't want to weaken the metal (?) with too much adjustment. On my Phenom this is metal and very small adjustments make big changes to the sensor position.

I'd try turning the screw clockwise 5' degrees, barely anything, and see if that improves the response. Since you are very close to the trigger working correctly I doubt you need to change it much.

If that makes it worse, back the screw out a quarter turn from the adjusted position and try again.

The trigger is fine, it's just turning off sporadically.

hmm I can't think of anything to do other than try a different magnet or check that everything is tight and installed correctly. On my phenom the only time I had issues like this is when the board just stopped working.
