    Porting a valve body?

Have you tried something like this?

In theory, rounding the edges off the body will help the gas flow. I've seen it work with other valves. Blow backs can be finicky though.

Even having this one in hand, i don't have enough experience with this specific marker or Tippmanns in general to see a difference. The radii could be made larger as well.

    Anybody?

I figured that portion wasn't as critical as the 180" move your air does on these corners.

For sure, but I guess we're talking about some efficiency benefit, and only if the velocity adjuster isn't soaking it up anyway. (?)

Yeah, I dunno if itll even help effeciency, but I did it. You are correct though, the fva will bust up any nice jetting you can achieve unless you back it out flush and use an RVA.

You can file those channels wider too, I’ve done it as part of a DIY low pressure build. If you don’t mess with springing or hammer weight it’s all just wasted air though

The hammer weight / rva/ springing will have a much more significant effect anyway. Unless you’re trying to eke out the most fps out of the lowest pressure possible the effects are minimal to negligible.
