This was a bolt-on electric motor with a paddle sear that was operated through a pressure switch you taped on the grip, not the response trigger kit or e-bolt. I believe this predates both of those by a few years.
I'm not sure about the years this was on the market but I saw one in action exactly once on a friend's Model 98 in 1999. It wasn't good! It didn't work so well with a gravity-fed hopper (mechanized hoppers seemed rare at the time) and it was ergonomically awkward as hell since you couldn't use most of the grip. That being said, it was a much cheaper option than the small handful of full-autos available, but I don't think my friend ever used it again.
While digging for more info, I came across this comment here on MCB about an old ad showing a "full auto kit" for the Model 98: "Full auto kit" was probably the bolt-on kit that the ATF banned... it was a box with an electric motor that bolted to the trigger guard and used a paddle to pull the trigger.
Do any of you know if this is the same kit that is or was actually banned by the ATF? I spent some time searching but couldn't find anything about the ATF and paintball aside from silencers.
A few other links for anyone interested in this unremarkable bit of paintball history:
A full kit complete with instructional VHS on Ebay. Not my listing but maybe of interest to someone here.
The only photo I could of one installed is this archived Action Village page.
A summary of the Psycho Ballistics brand on PBN, apparently unrelated to the markers of the 2000s.
