    - spring feed: left over from never started PGP project
    - 3D print: so minimal, maybe an oz? So a few $ (too late to do the math)

How essential is the the hook thingy on the side of the A5?
If I remove it, can the cyclone still function?

    Here is the "hook thingy":

Eh, you will have major feed issues. That is what pulls the ball into the gun. With out that the balls will just spin in the cyclone and never feed in the gun.

Got it, as it spin, the ball hit the hook and slide into the gun while the paddle goes around it?
      (I never used a cyclone before ...)

How does the hopper adapter fit with it in the way?

I’ve never used a hopper adaptor on an A-5. After a quick googling looks like they integrate that piece into the feed neck. I think there’s an adaptor to run a BT rip clip as well that may need that piece removed. My advice, if switching to feedneck is buy it first and then cut off if needed but it’ll never run a cyclone again.

and yes, exactly how the cyclone works.

Yep, Flasc paintball makes those adapters, I have one on my A5 with a rip clip, works great!

What's the point of getting rid of the cyclone in favor of the rip clip? I thought the ripclip was just a electric version of the cyclone.

        Thanks for the info 👍
this would be to put a spring feed on it ... Probably wouldn't never switch back, but wanting to make sure before I cut it off ... I think I'll go for it.
that A5 is in rough shape anyway ...

Where did you get/make the adaptor? I am thinking of modding an A5 to accept a RAP 4 firestick.

The ASA got removed, and i found a smaller muzzle break for the tip.
Also got a nice shroud for Walzmass and the stock will go back on it.

I was originally gonna print a thread adapter, then gave up ...

Here are my expanses so far:
              - rebuild kit $12
              - batter thread adapter $15

              Left to do:
              - adapter for the shroud
              - adapter for the bottom line to hold 10rd tube(s?)
              - rebuild the gun
              - polish the inside
