Have posted this in an Angel group of FB, but figure there might be some here interested:
.
Made a new Lazarus valve body so that I could test the new Dye Lazarus 11/16 valve in my A4 MT
Test #1:
Ordered some Reballs so I could do more refined testing.
Test #2. Stock hammer was running at a dwell of 8 and LPR of 42. A lighter hammer had no advantage over stock. When I used a delrin 5.1g hammer, I had to increase the dwell to 14 and lpr to 50 to achieve the same velocity as stock hammer. The light SS hammer, at 16.6g, while I didn't have to increse the lpr as much as the delrin, I had to increase the dwell to 10.
With the stock hammer, I ran the dwells from 5 (lowest Virture goes) to 14. and didn't see any noteable velocity changes. Increasing the LPR from 40 up to 55 did increase velocity, but stopped when I got to 58. As I increased the LPR there was a noteable increas in kick. Also, with the LPR down to 40 didn't seem to have any drop off when rapid firing.
The re-balls really need a .670 barrel to measure consistency. The reballs roundness varies from .669 to .672. The Valken Grafiti I used in the first test roundness varies from .667 to .685 (footballs)
I am happy with how the lazarus valve is performing.
