What details do buyers want to know when listing Angels (esp. LCDs)

I had a few Angels come in, couple LCDs and a G7. Condition unknown, but not totally neglected and upgrades may have been possible.

Other than the obvious stuff --- many good photos, check board, maybe test air --- what details should I check on these to best inform buyers if I list them?

I have a charger and I'm fine to do some disassembly if useful.

Same as any other gun, really. Make, model, and know defects.

Older angels, especially LCDs, were stored incorrectly by owners, and the battery was left inside of it . It would leak and cause damage to the body, board, and wiring harness.

Other than that, ensuring it airs up, cycles, and doesn't leak is another massive thing. some parts like the noid can be really hard to come by aince they're no longer making markers, and the ram being fully functional is also a bonus. You can buy a rebuildable one for newer guns but they can be pricey.

With these older models the batteries are on their way out or completely dead unless otherwise replaced. When they do have power, LCD screens can be difficult to read. Anecdotally speaking, most people will want to upgrade the board to something modern anyway, so neither of these are deal breakers. There are a number of custom models, so understand which model you have as some are worth a lot more. Like almost all Angels, these have a breech that rotates open, so make sure that isn't seized up and the breech seal is still in place. If the G7 still has the stock bolt, it should have a red rubber piece attached to the front.

Dudes are mixing up models.

LCD rams are rebuildable but take experience and knowledge. The orings internally in the ram will fail eventually and need to be replaced.

Batteries, I had one with a leaky battery and all it does is etch the walls and eat through the finish. It’s just like leaving a AA battery in your gameboy. You can clean up the green leaked battery fluid, with baking soda and vinegar and q-tips.

Breech rods are hard to find. Don’t break of the little nub where the spring holds the rod forward.

That being said, I played with an LED that was not rebuilt for two years before it went leaky on me. The tank @650psi. My first chrono was at 450 fps. Lol. I didn’t know I could go the far up. Lowered psi at the minireg and it locked in at 290.

I suggest dropping some oil in the ASA and run some light oil through the regulator and marker.

Check out YouTube and ask us if you need to fix anything. I rebuilt 3 LED’s and 4 or more LCD’s. I made batteries from scratch, rebuilt the Ram, full tear down and rebuilt.

The only thing I cannot do is make cup seals for the LPR in the front right chamber.

Take pictures of chamber, serial number, breech, battery tube, any damage.

Thanks man. have you done/is there a simple way to tell if it's been done? These markers had some money/attention paid at some point so it's possible... (i can ask that seller, just figured you may know)

I never got into the rebuildable stuff. I only worked on LCD’s and LED’s.

Would love a simple single trigger led but also aernt angels just pricey in general these days
