guys - it's a success- aired up without issue - the anti chop eyes from Dr.Strangelove (angeleyes) absolutely work- no leaks- this is my first Angel restore - my brothers marker from 20+ years ago- just used a donor body from eBay- pm7 board, mount, and some elbow grease. Post video- I used a flat file to make clearance for the 9v inside the frame!
big shout out to all of you guys- all the encouragement really helped keep it going.
And Myrkul- big inspiration for posting this project! Thanks MCB! I'll post up the next one as soon as I get on it -

Ok, i went back to my brothers frame- as much as i liked the chrome single trigger, i could use the money for bills and such. I broke down and got a LCD mount from a guy on ebay. Absolutely worth it- i know its not DIY but it makes mounting the switch better.
Dr Strangelove on PBnation hooked me up with some angel eyes that are a wee bit longer than usual so i can plug it into the ribbon into the PM7 board! So this morning i got it all hooked up and took apart and serviced the mini-reg. Pretty incredible some of the Orings were still good, i just had to change one.

I figured it was from the plating
I'm gonna try and make it work anyhow, i love single trigger setups!

Those frames trigger pin holes were too small due to the plating. The black ones didn't have the issue -

if you really want to push it, you can get an external LPR and conjoin the lower tubes in front of the valve. Will cut your operating pressure in half roughly.Leave a comment:

3mm x 8 mm pins sourced from Amazon did not quite fit so I had to take a drill bit to my trigger and frame. The trigger itself fits super tight in this frame- not sure if it's from the plating but it's got some decent movement right now
time to source some 4-40 screws and mount this switch!

So far so good- as soon as a trigger pin gets in I can install the trigger and see where I should put the micro switch- then I'm thinking a little epoxy will make everything a little more permanentLeave a comment:

did some cutting on the PMR board, fit the foam into the frame to figure out where else i need to cut to make a small mount for this thangLeave a comment:
