Don’t want to beat a dead horse but f it. Ran an aftermarket vert reg on the tester for the first time. Way better than the mini-reg.

Long story short if you ran a Powerhouse tank reg, aftermarket vert reg, and an AKA lpr I bet the velocity would be money at 11 balls per second.

Dye vs AKA vs CP regulator test at 11 bps. All within 5 psi of each other when the next ball is fired.

Dye has the best pressure profile while the mini-reg is just hanging out.

so the DYE dips less and recharges quicker than the AKA and is just as consistent...?

Yeah the Hyper2 I tested did quite well. I believe you really won’t see much velocity difference between the 3 brands until you go well beyond 11 balls per second.
