Angel A1 detents!

I'm making the rubber detents, not the eye covers themselves. I'm not set up to do that sort of complex, hard-plastic molding at the moment.

As the other pointed out above, the one piece covers cam first - they worked well, until they didn't - and often broke during removal. The three piece covers solved this, but were just not as "tight" as the single molded units.

This is one of the main design issues that can be nit picked. Getting the eye covers these days is a real PITA.

I am about to start making myself smaller bore barrels to manage the current paints that all seem to be well under the 0.691" that came with the Fly.

Seconded. Doc, I'd be happy to send you a complete working A1 to test stuff on, since I'll be traveling for work most of the remaining year. Unfortunately, I had to use my spare detent cover after the other one broke when I took the detents out to try to soften them up. I ended up slotting the bolt, as it was literally sticking on the detents.

Hey Doc,

Are you still creating and selling A1 3 piece detents? I see you have the 1 piece on your ebay store but no 3 piece. You did have a thread on here that you were making them. If you do, i'd be interested. Also, do you know if you can easily just swap the 1 piece eye covers and detents with the 3 piece eye covers and detents?
