Who else goes through playstyle phases?

Yep, I went through the phases, and now I basically play everything. Lately, I've been doing a bunch of magfed. The next games will be pump and/or open class.

Out of all the formats, I've grown really tired of open class electrofests. I still play it, of course, but I'd much prefer a different format. It's too easy to hit your target. Movement is constrained by all the spam too. imo

Yep. Bone stock Spyder Shutter turned into Boo-Yah framed electro carrying 7 pods. Jumped into AGD mags, stock, pump, warped intelli, electroed, carrying 3 pods. Jumped into CCI Phantoms, stock and open with 8 Tubes. I found that I very much prefer the mechanical triggers vs the clickity-clack electro triggers. Although I do have an Emek, that trigger feel is somewhere between clickity-clack and bang. Not having to buy/worry about batteries was a big factor for going non-electro. Sold off most of my stuff. Only kept 2 odd-ball mags (pistol and bullpup), 1 phantom with all the dang accessories, and 1 pals emek with a small hopper. Speed ball or rec, I'll sport tubes over pods. As for mag-fed... I have airsoft to fill that gap, but Ghost-Flankers' mod keeps calling me, specially with the new and legit "20-round" FS-option magazine. Going lighter in weight (in my case) is also a factor of getting old. I cant dive and bounce back up as fast anymore with a load of pods. Pump for the win!
