I’ll probably use a rotor anyway, but dedicating a revy to the IR3 on intellifeed would be sweet.but I'm using a DMG4800LSD dual-channel MOSFET which by the specs will handle.. around 9 amps, so let 'er run all night.
Using the off-channel as intellifeed is something the Morlock boards did from the very beginning, this one is no exception, it's already built into the docs on the site.
You can adjust the timing of when you want it to kick in. Originally I also had it hold off for X time after a trigger and have all these adaptive algorithms but none of them seemed to really be better than just turning it on immediately.
Just look at the lower-left of the configuration utility, "accessory run time" is where you configure how long to run after the string ends, from 0 to whatever.

That's a good idea. Hopefully Curt can comment on the current limits of the output. The motor in the hopper is going to pull a lot more amperage than a coil in a solenoid.

Okay, I snagged one. Full package at that. I have a gen 2 timmy I am hoping this would work in. Reallly hoping to get the oled in the frame window where the lcd was. I have no idea what else is wrong with that trainwreck, but now I have a reason to find out.

I love how modular these are, but I've literally done nothing with electronics like this. I'd like to say I'd be able to set one up but I honestly have no clue

Bought one this morning... now I just need to figure out what to put it in.

The Balls Per Second cap defaults to 10, but you can set it to anything you want. 5.5 is not a problem, if you specify that as "special instructions" when ordering I can pre-program it that way for you.

Thanks for putting in the effort to do this project. Time catches up with all our gats so I picked one up just to try and future proof some of my goodies.

Sorry I have been lurking this thread but didn't want to post until I had something to contribute.. Doc pretty much completely covered it all before I got to anything
Yeah the project is complete and the boards are designed, but much to my enormous surprise the initial production run sold out before I had even finished building it!
I have been updating the online documentation with images and videos : http://northarc.com/morlock if you are interested in one or have any questions.
One thing I don't know if it was mentioned, there is an on-board voltage booster so the Morlock should run any solenoid from the on-board LiPo, although I don't have an 18v e-mag monster to test with to be sure. The booster is software-programmable in 0.2v steps from 4v -> 20v
As of this post there is a week backorder, but I put a rush on the next boards from the Fab house.
I'll be in for a few if can run eblade guts and uses a regular 9v battery

Very cool! May be a good substitute for the virtues in my LEDs. Just wish the battery was same dimensions as a 9v, but may be able to work around that.1 Photo
