Where's the "dislike" button for these warmed-over turds?“It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.” -Krishnamurti

Yeesh, I don't understand how it can get under the skin enough to warrant such a reaction. It's not for performance, it is just for looks. I also sometimes go paintballing in silly get ups like a cowboy or a gangster. To me, not everything has to be srsbusiness maximize the efficacy of my marker all the time, if you design all your markers for maximum efficacy more power to you. You're not going to see me in your thread criticizing repeatedly because it doesnt have any frills, or telling you it needs a dislike button because it's a steaming turd or posting multiple times to continue discussion on how not my cup of tea it is.

Firstly, I posted a picture, not a viewpoint to argue about. "Dissenting views" doesn't even make any sense.
And secondly, even if it WERE something to dissent to, there would be a difference between dissenting in a respectful manner and.....this. To respond this way would only make sense if what I posted offended you at some emotional level, or if you were just a jerk by personality. I gave the benefit of the doubt and assumed the former.

It points really well without a stock. I’ve never been a person to aim a paintball gun. I’m a point and shoot kind of guy. With my S6 it works well because I’ve shot it so much I have the muscle memory to do it. I need to work on it with the Duckslide.
I think the stock would defeat the purpose of having a pistol.

Technically barrel porting isn’t allowed in SC. This eliminates most purpose built SC markers. I have never seen games that are that strict. Most places are a lot less strict when it comes to SC. Rules have adapted while still staying true to the Art of Stock class. StockClassHQ has a well written set of rules “2.0 rules” and they work pretty universal while staying true to the Spirit of Stock Class.
The ones that complain that barrel porting and a lever changers rune games certainly don’t run them. With the exception of a few games like Click clack Bloop that requires the use of PGP/Splatmaster/007. I don’t think I have seen or heard of a Stock Class game being played in 20+ years under the strictest terms. Hell Here at MCB we trick out Splatmasters with freak bored ported barrels (Kit I ❤️ you for this BTW). So if nobody is running games and nobody currently makes a new SC marker under the strict adherence to the rules from the 80s. Who is keeping that form of Stock Class alive?Last edited by Chuck E Ducky; 05-28-2021, 09:06 AM.

I guess they'll just let anyone into the stock class games these days smh lol
Just kidding guys, we're not here to argue what's legal and yes, it was a joke. Also yes, my gun isn't strictly legal because of the porting, just seeing who's paying attention.
Also, nobody is keeping stock class alive. Stock class is like having a ford model T race at a track day. It's dead. Dead as can be. There's just a few people that play it during rec games and they're all here. Anyone that thinks they are a real "stock class" player needs to realize that there is no "class" in any tournament for stock guns. We're all just nerds that like guns that don't have hoppers ruining their lines.
