I vote Tippmann SL68II. Simply just love the look feel and comfort of them. And the fact that the velocity is adjusted externally is a bonus.

Have had a tracer and a phantom in past. Liked them both. But still prefer my SL68II. it’s not really better in any one way. It just like the fit and look I guess.

The SL-68II is a nice marker. It's in my top five for sure.

I loved the SL68II wish there were better barrel options. A buddy of mine adapted a DW barrel on his and the thing rocks!

Yeah more barrel options be nice. I ordered a 12” palmers solid brass barrel in .680 and it’s been awesome. It’s EPICLY loud which just feels right for this thing.

For me it's a toss up between the Kingman Hammer and the PMI Trracer/ACI Maverick. I've both, upgraded both, and have loads of fun with both.

Not better than anything said here. But its all i got and i love the look and how small and light it is. I know how to aim it so it hits exactly where i want. That and its efficiency and performance on 12g and hpa is awesome. Click image for larger version

Despite their clunky appearance, these are really comfortable markers.

I LOVE that LNIB Tigershark. Every time I see that I smile.

Tagmaster/Hornet. I swear, best value in paintball. And pump rods under the barrel is WAY better than the Trracer/Maverick configuration, no screws to lose.

The worst thing about slotted bodies and dual pump rods is that it takes a lot of work to clean paint out of them when you get hit. I still have all the original screws from my 1992 PMI Trracer so for me this was never an issue.

I've had numerous pumps over the years, and the one I haven't gotten rid of is my Hammer A. I've had it for 15ish years now. The internals are all brass, and if you take the time to polish them up, the pump stroke is one of the smoothest I've shot. Spyder threads are a major plus, too. I run a Freak. Rollouts just aren't a problem. Kingman got everything right with this one.

I'd probably say Sterlings, if they have a better velocity adjuster and a vertical adapter. I'd say Avratech Falcon if it didn't have the autotrigger bug. The Avratech Retro 7 is definitely my real favorite. It's the ultimate nelson; cocker threaded, in grip 12g changer, and modular to the point that it makes Phantoms cry. After that, the Kingman Hammer, as long as it has the aluminum trigger. It's literally a better Trracer. Brass internals that are super smooth, a metal trigger frame that still takes m16 blocks, and with a barrel thread that actually has aftermarket options. Like I said, you just have to make sure you get the metal framed version. The plastic frames are really junky.

I have 40 Nelson based guns from about 20 different companies, not counting my Phantoms. My first pump was a Razorback, so I'm partial to that style. just love the feel of the metal knurled pump. My second love was Bushmaster. Smooth pump stroke and that beautiful trigger frame.
There are some really nice Nelson guns with unique features out there, they always make me happy when i shoot them.

What’s that custom green one you shoot based off of? That thing is awesome! It obviously shoots good I get smacked in the lens regularly by it.

Empire traccer. I paid $75 for it and added a magpul angled front grip. Comes stock with a clamping feed neck, rails for tac lights/cams ets, and is cocker threaded. I also mounted a bottom line to is as the stock frame has the asa bolt holes ready to go.

And you can slide back the elbow to drop in all those FSR bounces the fatties in the back lob at you.

That is also offensive. I’m not going to even tell you the correct term because it’s even more offensive! That’s where we’re at now.

I think the one thing we can all agree on is that the basic Nelson design just rules.
