Help for my local field?

I posted this in the Canadian section but figured here may get a bit more traffic (please advise if this is not ok). Flag raiders paint ball needs help. Due to the pandemic they have lost their lease. They still own land that they had their field on in the past but moved as there were zoning issues and was just easier to relocate. Their old field was a lot of fun I might add.

Now their trying to move back to the old field but still fighting land zoning issues and are asking for help from the paintball community to do a letter campaign to the city officials. https://flagraiders.com link to there web site with all the links to city officials.

Flag raiders is one of the oldest fields in Canada and both their fields have always been fun to play. Don’t want to see them fade to nothing purely on fact of ignorant officials.

send an email to one or all links and just be civil and explain that you like to travel for paintball. You have or wish to visit the city and play there etc. Let the city know how much $$$ they missing if they fail to capitalize on a local field.

flag raiders has also been home to some of the best big games, multiple Canadian Carnage events. Additionally they have hosted many speedball tournaments as well.

I even received a few responses, mostly just thanking me for bringing my concerns to their attention, but one Councillor did say they'd like to have Flag Raiders in their town of Cambridge. So it does appear to have some weight to it, if many players email the politicians and let them know they care about this field! Man , if any of you American dudes have crossed the border for a Flag Raiders event like Canadian Carnage, or The Phoenix Project , or their recent Battle Royale games (attended and General'ed by Greg Hastings and The Hidden Hedgehog) , i think it would speak a ton to what a great Sports Tourism Attraction they are, and it would be great if you could email and mention that you took a road trip, or a flight into Canada and to their City to play at Flag Raiders!!! Man, does anyone on here know Greg Hastings!?? If one of the most famous paintballers around (thanks Xbox) could email them to try to save Flag Raiders, that would be amazing!!!
