(A long time ago) Craigslist deal, 8 - AGA62 .62 Caliber Pistols, with a bunch of extra AGA62 parts. The way the add was written, it looked like he was asking $85 each, but he was really wanting only $85 for all 8! (I could have sold them rebuilt for at least $150 each or unrebuilt for $100 each). Someone contacted him, before I could lockdown a deal, and swooped in and bought everything for $100!

Years ago I found a very nice pump mag on PBnation. I was close to a deal, and I sent it to a friend of mine because I was excited about it. Suddenly I was outbid. He showed up 2 weeks later to the field with it.
