I wish HP manifold-style Maxxies were easier to find, I used those on all my co2 guns back in the day and they worked great

As much as I like my Sidewinders, if I could find HP manifolds, I'd swap them onto my Cockers.

Interesting fact; all of the manifold max-flos can be used without the manifold. You can just side-saddle it off the ASA. Not the prettiest setup, but works fine. The manifold isn't exactly the belle of the ball either. It only looks "right" on shoeboxes, impulses and evo cockers (if they are color matched to the evo, but that's a stretch).

True, and they could be relocated to a vertical position or even run off the front of a Shocker. None of that has anything to do with HP vs. LP, though. LP manifold Max Flos are farrrrrrr easier to find. Using one (or any other bottomline adjustable reg) on a Cocker and being able to use a gas-thru can also be helpful for pre-'97 or really low pressure guns. Also, Max Flos are one of the easiest regs I've ever worked on.

And those three guns- Shockers, Impulses, Cockers- are 95% of what I shoot.
