Is it ok to invite users to an unofficial MCB chat on telegram?

I used to be around when MCB had a chat room, actually man everybody had some kind of chat feature loosely associated with their forum back in the early 2000s. I miss that.

There's no real paintball chat presence on telegram, which is an app I use every day now. Would it be ok to invite people there unofficially? It's there already and I promise, the water's warm.

Also, telegram's been a great alternative for me especially ever since whatsapp forced their users to allow facebook to scan your convos and send you ads.

I try to stay off fb during work hours (because i still need this job), but stuff like telegram can stay up.

But yes, FB is also dirty AF, should be called Dirtbook from now on

Telegram seems ok - though you need to be careful with optics. According to local news media, using telegram makes you a tiririst.

Facebook is awful. I'm amazed how many people just don't care that they listen to and analyse all your messages including audio and video calls. Saying you don't care because you have nothing to hide is like not caring about free speech because you have nothing to say.

And it’s a horrible sign of complacency. Just leave your door open to any fed or mega corp to snoop around your stuff to serve you ads or arrest you... I just use FB on a browser and will not download their apps. The internet is almost not fun anymore.
