My current paintball project is me.

I am motivating my fat, old, out of shape ass to actually get out there while the weather is so perfect for it (before it gets hot).

That is where I am at. My cardio is abysmal. But weather is good, and my kids aren’t in any sports so time to hit the field… maybe….

I have to LOL at myself a bit. I haven't played much for the past few years and very recently narrowed down my gear to one marker, then very quickly back to two. A mech mag that I can't get to work right (whole other story) and an Invert Mini. There are a group of really nice young guys that have been coming out and tending to/practicing on airball. The first couple of days they were REALLY rough around the edges and even up to two weekends ago I was more than holding my own. IDK what happened between two weeks ago and today, but damn those boys were skunking my ass all day long. I don't know how much to blame on lack of field awareness and being out of practice or combo of shape and age...probably both. I am too good (even still) to play the renters and am about the worst guy to pick for open speedball with experienced folks. Just the same, it's a great time. I just have to get out there.

Classic Mag breeding behavior in the wild. This is what happens when you feed the parts bin after midnight.

Yup, though it came with an odd silver blade trigger that had been modified by grinding pretty extensively, so I had to source that Eclipse blade trigger and since I couldn't find a Shocker one, I had to find that Impulse one and grind the little nub on the back so it would fit. I dunno if the turbo board that came with it worked or not, since I had a Sci-fi board waiting for it lol. It had a slight leak from solenoid manifold, but a slight bit of torque fixed it, and the reg was creeping which was an easy fix. So far it has been a very easy project to work with I am very thankful for this place because otherwise I wouldn't have even known it existed

My Angel is still on the bench...

Probably will work on my Trracer next. The trigger binds up for some reason. Will probably try sanding down the sides of it. Could probably do it without compromising it's strength/integrity. And I could use a bucket/quick changer for it.

I think I got it. I am out of air to really test it, but I was able to make piston stroke considerably smoother when actuating by hand.

I've ran 3x 12ies through it. All three have cycled properly twice and didn't have enough juice to reset the trigger a third time, not a total acid test, but Im fairly optimistic.

This 98 is my best friend's cousin's shooter. It was given to me like 4 years ago to fix. He said no rush in my defense. 4 years ago, I noticed the power tube bolts were sheared off, and I never did much with it.

Today its gonna get a full clean and hope it works after the fact.

I think Ill add a second 98 to the box when I return it to the owner.

Is that an aluminum power tube? I bought one of those years ago and decided to just take it out. The sound signature was just way too loud for my taste. And this is considering it was in a T98 in the first place…

Going to try my hand at a pirate stocked PGP. So it begins…

I have one leaky T98 valve that needs new urethane rings. Gotta crack that bad boy open. I sure wish they had put C rings in those instead of the spring clip.

I know, they are such a PITA. Its been years, so I kinda forgot about that part. This one seems to have had a flake of something that was stuck to the cup seal face. The urethane o rings may need a swap too, but Im not sure. I was just told it needed work. Ive been scraping loctite out of the valve for a bit, but I gotta do some house chores for the wife. Then Ill finish my 98 project today. ( at least clean, grease, and re assemble to see what o rings need replacing.) Im contemplating upgrading him to a metal power tube I have too.

Im also going to add a 2nd 98c to the box when I mail it to him.

I started the homebrew PA Sniper I've always wanted - well, what I really want is a Brad Nestle SHO but I never see them for sale so this is the next best thing I guess.

I need to source a new frame and decide on what pump kit I'm going to chop up to fit. 🙂

And God turned to Gabriel and said: “I shall create a land called Canada of outstanding natural beauty, with majestic mountains soaring with eagles, sparkling lakes abundant with bass and trout, forests full of elk and moose, and rivers stocked with salmon. I shall make the land rich in oil so the inhabitants prosper and call them Canadians, and they shall be praised as the friendliest of all people.”

“But Lord,” asked Gabriel, “Is this not too generous to these Canadians?”

And God replied, “Just wait and see the neighbors I shall inflict upon them."

WORR13 I actually had to build a ram out of parts from two different ones.... there's a threaded nose on each end so I could reverse mount the ram using a stock front block.

                  That's smart

A frame came in the mail today so I jammed a solenoid, microswitch, and Morlock in there. Programmed it to match the Eblade’s fast mode. Still have some work left to do before it’s ready to bolt to an autococker.

Lmao, well to be fair I think Gump was really smart, he just seemed the opposite.

Nah Jordan, give yourself some credit. You have come up with some genius stuff. Id say you are smarter than Gump AND Lt. Dan.

We didn't get this one live last night. Like many pps guns we disassembled and reassembled til we were too tired to work.

This was the stroker I got for cheap that changed hands 3 times in a few months. With the epoxied LPR body.

Early pps stroker job, P527. half of the lpr was pulled out when I got it so we didn't get to see how that went together. There was an extra sheridan valve in the mix so that was confusing.

I disassembled and cleaned everything while boomer finished my other stroker. It took time to chisel the epoxy, or super glue out to free the lpr body out. Then it all got a simple green bath in the ultrasonic cleaner.

There was stripped air lined what the ferrule soldered to the fitting on. There was random crap stacked in the tubed to seat the lpr, so I dont think Id have gotten it trying to put it all back.

Once boomer was done with my other stroker he said he would take over on this one. Thats when it was this pile of parts. We laughed about it.

There was a lot of weird stuff going from a relief in the hammer face (assuming to lower velocity band) to how the trigger assembly was built.

But at the end of the day we aired it up a few times and the lpr wouldn't shut off so we still have work to do.

We did however get it to hold air ( if you plugged the lpr output) so we dont need the epoxy anymore.
                Working...
