I’ve never have a full-blown inception cocker but have used several Inception parts and they are very nice. I’ve got an ID-3 way and hinge trigger on my latest mech build.
I really like their mid-block bodies. Something a little different. There a few guys that sell ID guns on here. See what strikes your fancy!

First I have to ask, what kind of experience do you have with cockers?

They are worth it if you want the best of the best. Them and all the other $1000 super cockers will have you more than set. The frames are super fast on them all and great pneumatics. I would probably go with an inceptions just for that fle hinge trigger frame. Of course a cheap cocker like a wgp prostock would work plenty fine too and the empire resurrection is a great option if you don't want to deal with back blocks. I love my wgp trilogy comp i got from Hellion360, the double trigger frame is super fast and it is perfectly tuned. Super consistent over the chrono, not that heavy, and it should be reliable.

For me cockers are the most fun to shoot, and that is what I care about. They are accurate and reasonably fast but it's the feel that keeps me shooting them, its just fun.
I own a ton of them, sell a lot of them, and build and tune them all the time. I work with an ID dealer and think that the Inception products are almost all excellent/top of the line. Out of the box their factory tuning varies but is generally conservative in my experience. The ID parts can definitely be pushed in a variety of ways depending on the user's desire.
I do have a freshly anodized mini ripper to build in dark cherry, plus a couple ID guns here

I myself would not buy an Inception cocker purely because I can't justify spending the cash on something that'll hang on my wall. I won't want to use it. I'm sure they're 100% worth it though. Never heard a bad word about them. If you want one then go for it!
For cockers I shoot a Resurrection and Trilogy. Ressys are excellent shooters for the price. I've never become so acclimated to a paintgun so quickly in my 18 years of playing. It just feels right. Just make sure you replace the stock hammer with the Inception hammer.
