Not mail, but I scored a very nice condition Vmax today. Fella got stationed elsewhere, so he was dumping everything cheap.

Because most mag fed events don't allow stick feeds
-
Warmongrel I play at a field that has large groups of magfed players come in every few months for magfed only games. I'm not 100% certain they will be cool with this setup but really it's more of true magfed than some of the guys running Dye Dams and EMF100's. I went with this setup versus buying a single purpose marker like an EMF or TMC because I love my Emeks and didn't want to buy a marker that will sit all year with the exception of the 4-5 times a year they come play. My buddies at the field mostly play magfed and I wanted to be able to join in the fun if I am able to play.
These zeta mags hold 10 on each side for a total mag size of 20 shots. I bought a few mags to get started. For what I paid, I probably could have bought a used magfed marker but then I have to worry about it sitting unused and not being ready when I want to play. This way I can use whatever I have at the time and will be sure it works. Plus if one Emek goes down, I have others.
And rarely what I do makes sense lol! But I thought this is an easier way for me to jump into magfed only games and not have to spend a lot of money to get a magfed gun and then being tempted to upgrade everything on it.

The last time I tried to play a magfed only game, my DSG wasn't allowed because it didn't have a detachable magazine...and I thought stock class purists were snobs.

A 2012 Mac Mini. I've already slapped in 16gb of ram and an SSD.
I've been looking for an option for basic music production, as I've almost fully transitioned away from Windows and most of the software I use was on there. I dug my girlfriends old 15" 2012 MBP out and discovered that with 16gb of ram, it's actually pretty good for just jamming and basic recording.
Decided to pull the trigger on an eBay Mac Mini since the specs are identical to her MBP.
Also got a dual hard drive kit and will be running a Linux side for daily use. The main rig will now just be a gaming computer/dust collector.Originally posted by Terry A. DavisGod said 640x480 16 color was a covenant like circumcision.

lhamilton1807 I would love to grab a NUC or similar, but my budget is low. These things are like $150 on ebay, often already with upgraded hardware. I was fortunate to have a MBP sitting in a box with identical specs and I could test my use theory first. I actually prefer MacOS for running DAWs anyways.
My girlfriend is not too happy to see a 4th computer on my desk, but she's also getting her MBP back so that will tame things.

Did you hack it to run macOS Ventura? I read you need to hack it to run the latest macOS. I want a Mac Mini for the lossless music playback through Apple Music when streaming. The 2012 Mac Mini only went to macOS Catalina which didnāt offer lossless or high res-lossless music playback.
-
Warmongrel I have not installed the opencore patcher, I'm just using Catalina. I might try it out but it's not a priority for me. As long as I can run Logic and Reaper, I'm happy.
Honestly considering another one as a media streamer. I forgot they had an IR input which would be great.

Have you found success using that sort of red dot sight? I've always found the tunnel vision effect of any 'tubed' sight to throw off my game too much.
-
Yeah I use it with both eyes open. Just puts a reference point in my field of vision. Zero it at my expected range and just don't use it up close. I don't peer through it or anything, it just sort of floats.

For $29.99 shipped, how could I say no to this cool ano and it said Sheridan on itā¦ I donāt know much about these are they any good?

that's a cool anno, I have the red splash and blue splash and a crappy plain silver. I remember the ads in APG from back in the day and always thought they were neat so when I got back into the sport about 2 years ago, I picked some up for the same reason (cheap!). of the 3 I bought I had enough parts to make 1 functional, but have yet to field it.

I have a vague memory that they had a recall because the gun would occasionally fire the bolt out the barrel, but that might have been the XGS double action pistol. Whichever one it was I seem to remember the fix being fairly easy. Assuming it is as similar to the Tippmann Carbine as it looks it might have been that the 90 degree turn on the linkage arm wasn't long enough?
I also have a vague memory that F4 Illustrator elbow plugs worked better than Spyder elbow plugs, but that could be neurons misfiring.

With these, the rear banjo does not sit in a recess, but on the bottom of the body. That means it will not fit all the way down in the frame. To fix it:
1. Aftermarket frame?
2. Low profile banjos (do these even exist?)
3. Mill the recess in the frame deeper. Seems doable, lots of meat left there.

They are BOB... You pull the c-clip and replace the back piece with the back part from the ST body. An oring (009) between the body and the can seals that part where the banjo used to attach. The banjo then attaches to the body itself. The ST back block is held in place by the rear frame bolt. Remove the rear frame bolt, the back piece slides out, and then you just unscrew the can from the rear to get to the bolt.

not mail, but local church rummage sale find for 10 dollars yesterday. I was told I could just take it, but felt I should at least give something. there was also an old dye invision that literally fell apart when I was checking them out (are the frames worth anything?). bunch of random other junk with it too vl200s, pods, tanks. changed all the o rings in the shutter and avenger and they work fine now. the ion is rough and is looking like a mech candidate.

There is a field about 20-miles away, nothing great, in among the scrub trees. The owner is a good sort. Sometimes you can find an old piece on the local CraigsList, but more often than not its by word of mouth. There are a couple ads on CL that offer to buy old paintball gear. I'm not sure how much goes their way. Most of mine is watching ebay, or the ads here on MCB. I look for older stuff that needs to be reconditioned or reconstituted. I've picked up several oldies from Dan Bacci, some pieces from Renick Miller and Jesse Oved (through Bacci). Dan also has some of Jeff Perlmutter's stuff listed.
