This prissy bitch wormed its way back to me today. I freaking HATE it but I'm too far in at this point to give up on it either. Might need to bury it in the corner of shame for a while before I take another crack at it.

I do not have anything more elaborate then a tape measure for measuring, and as far as tools go I have sandpaper.
It's suspected that the lack of the second glide screw was causing the trigger plate to sit at a slight angle (since the only glide screw had previously been at the front of the frame). This slight angle introduced enough slop to make it sporadically unreliable. That's the current theory anyway. The new glide screw is in, but it hasn't been tested yet. We'll see how long it is before I work up the amount of self loathing needed to attempt another go at it.

So I guess it begs the question do you have the right year trigger plate for that frame?

Yes. Pre-97 AKA plate. It's also been tested with the stock trigger plate it came with, no difference still skipped like a mother fucker.
superman cockertop was the expensive one, he didn't do a damn thing to fix the issue and honestly I suspect he didn't even try. Extremely arrogant and a number of other mistakes on the gun too, such as wayyyy to heavy on the springs. 0/10 would litteraly never use him again for anything. Screw that guy.
More recently KCCockerDoc has been poking at it, he dropped the second glide screw in. We aren't sure if that will fix it or not though, and my motivation to keep fucking with it is in the absolute toilet since it's been a very expensive paperweight for so long.
