I bought this beautiful phantom off eBay on Monday. This morning it was delivered and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. The body will be off the ASP next week.

Got the g3 iq on Saturday from Ben06. He said it needed work. Only reason I bought it was these ndz bolts being available for 35 bucks. Got my bolt in today. So for 135 all in I've got a nice loaner.
Tossed a chunk of braid at it. Tried to shim the trigger but it's just what it is for now.
shimed the power button so the virtue board works with the membrane.
And cleaned it up a bit.
put a parabolic on it as I like the lines. Not sure what it's chronoing, but it holds air, eyes work, and it cycles.3 Photos

Psycho91 I’ve never had an issue with them as mech semi markers. The original Cyclone (revision A, stamped on the bottom plate next to where the piston housing attaches) had hard plastic paddles that could definitely blend if the paint was brittle or oddly shaped. Revision A1 cyclones had softer paddles, improved gearing, and exhaust holes in the piston housing that resolved some of those issues.

to echo Lhamilton cyclones are fine.. I ran one for a long time. They are fun to run with a tac cap. There are a bunch of hopper options otherwise. I just feel they run much more efficiently on co2 which I cant really get anymore. and they are wide as all get out, so if you sight down the right of your marker they will annoy you. if you preload the little spring plunger before the game they keep spring tension on the next ball. I think a lot of people never manually advance the ball so the paddles just rest short of that.
For me though, I want to run an rt on my a5 as the trigger kickback is a novel expierence you only get with response triggers or mags. on hpa, its a lot more work to get both the cyclone and RT to work effectively in my expierence. Even with fat hoses it may not work unless properly set up. It's possible with enough input pressure, but I just wanted to elimenate a moving part, and it allows me to toss one of the many fast hoppers I have onto it.
The line of sight down the side is a huge bonus I wasnt even expecting.

Won a package on instagram recently. If anyone is looking for a laid back paintball podcast check out “The Center 50”.
gmek wasn’t part of the package just threw it in.2 Photos

From a store standpoint they weren't visually appealing... This one is one of the more simple colorways if they kept it to that they would of sold better

I definitely agree with you there. I think black is the only solid color they made. Some of the other colorways look ok (silver, black with silver accents, black with red accents), some are just plain ugly. Of course the “appendage” dangling off the front doesn't help. I feel it’s less noticeable on the solid black.

Got my Docfire order in (sled and detent) so I could finish up assembly of my super secret pump build, and my parts from netsurferdude2 (bolt link) that I needed for my JeeperCreeper Cheaper build.
I didn't feel like doing much on my JCCB so I worked on my SSPB instead yesterday... mostly done, just needs some cleanup still.

Thanks guys! Cal440 I've been collecting parts for a few months now, I built an 11/16" valve-compatible brass body that uses mostly off the shelf Cocker parts (one part was modified to fit). I bought some tubing that got machined for Cocker threads, so it takes conventional barrels too.
Originally I wanted to build something like a T2 but I just prefer the look of a mid-block over a half or full.
Gotta do a bunch more sanding/finishing, then I'll likely beadblast the body and let it patina or nickel the body... undecided.
