I'm not sentimental for things that let me down on the field, or just don't perform how I like. I'm down to seven mags and one Emek, and everything works as it should. All the rotten apples get thrown out fast!

thumper that I drilled to remove the sear because the spring had snapped.
game plan is to use it as the start of a paintball cross bow

For me its normally guns I buy with plans to clean up and resell, but find some kind of major unexpected issue and don't want to sacrifice profit/take a loss so I just wait until I can find parts (either at all or for a price I like).

It's also having too many projects on the go. I have several with no ASAs, missing critical parts, not tuned, and tanks that have either inappropriate capacity or output.

None of this really matters though, since I haven't played in over a year.

Probably the Tippmen 98C my cousin gave me. I will never shot it. Never could get used to the ergonomics of those. And usually when people see it they no longer want to borrow it. It's painted high vis orange because it was my cousins loaner gun that he was tired of people abusing the fact he had a loaner gun they could use.

I've got a WGP Synergy that's in pieces and might never shoot again.

I bought it working, actually, but I wanted to change the trigger guard and forgot to take out the board before I started drilling holes in the frame. I hit the board with the drill and killed it. Then I decided that I would try to make it into a pneumatic mech. That didn't work either. Then I gave up. It's been sitting in a box in the garage ever since.

Although....it has been a few years since I touched it last. I've learned a few things since then. Maybe I'll try to get it working again this summer.

Let me make you something. I build pneumags, auto-response frames, and wooden pill cases.

You do realize what forum you are on right? Line any of us own one regret marker

Maybe the dm6 for me, I don't tend to hang on to markers I don't use but I have enough at this point that I really don't need a dedicated "backup" even still, it shoots great, it's reliable and it was my 3rd ever marker

I've sold everything else, I don't hold on to stuff that doesn't serve a purpose

I’m actually not even sure where it is right now….
Well if you do want to give it to a new player, I have a few actually looking for gear

Probably doesn't count but I still have my Tippmann Pro-am from back in the day that was purchased new from the local shop. Not sure why I still have it but there it sits on the wall. I don't think I played a game with it since I got my Sniper 2 in the 90's but it has always worked whenever I pulled it out in the back yard. Seriously though, this marker is roughly 30 years old and has never had any love other than a new detent or 2. Still runs but may never see the field again.
"but we all have electros and you guys only have pumps, this wont be fair"

                (chuckling quietly) "we know"

I have 7 R/T Twisters in my permanent collection....and a stock spyder compact. It's there for 2 reasons. 1. I had one as my first gun. 2. I have a 3 year old who is very curious and wants to see Daddy's boom-booms. I figured out pretty quickly that I really didn't need the little dude banging around my expensive toys, so I got him his own one to mess around with (pressure free, of course). It's not going anywhere, and can take the beating for the other ones.

I’ve got several Stingrays that I’m not sure why i keep. I’m sure I’ll never use them &, with the exception of one or two, they don’t hold any sentimental value.

I have this stupid Tacamo Bolt pump that I bought new, sold, then bought back because I realized if I'm going to play magfed it has to be a pump. It's just a 98c with a magwell and pump, and shoots just like you would expect. Not a bad gun by any means, and it actually shoots FSR really well, but even after re-purchasing it just sits. It's my just-in-case magfed gun that I never use if the magfed events allow stick feed instead.

I also have a bin of talons, er2s, blades, etc. but I don't really have any feelings for them one way or the other.
