Finding Your Old Feedback

Fairly easy to find your old Feedback thread for MCB in the Wayback Machine:

• Search for your feedback in Google and locate a hit that is pre-Hack (4 Jul 2020)
  • "https://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/feedback/14973-grendels-feedback-4.html"
• Look for your username in the URL and copy the preceding number through the word "feedback" (Bold/Underlined above) you then take this and copy in like mine in the URL you see next:
  • "https://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/feedback/14973-grendels-feedback.html"
• Now you take this URL and go to https://archive.org/web/ and drop this URL into the Browse History search diaglog and select Enter.
• This will lead you to all of the successful searches of the archive, now just select the latest date and follow
• Go to the address bar of your browser and copy the web.archive.org URL for that page and post as a link in your feedback.

Thanks for the reminder. Between this and the Wayback Machine, I was able to recover a portion of my feedback. It's not everything, but it's better than nothing.

Also trying google webcache view is handy. Just drop the url you're looking for at the end of what is below, post the colon, copy/pasta into your browser of choice, and see what pops.
