I have an electronic Triumph that I had a 90ci Maxflo and a Freak Barrel on. The few times I had used it people referred to it as the Super Triumph. I had purchased 5 of them for $25 each brand new. The original plan was to source the electronics for projects and convert a friends 98 Custom.

I got one. Kid comes into a local field and buys a brand new A4 Fly (hottest thing on the block at the time) mommy pays for 4 cases of paint asking if that's enough for him to play for the day. Suffice to say he had no idea what he was doing and got slaughtered by the greenest of green gear owners. He took the gun back to the desk and the owners literally bought it back for like 25% or something else stupid of what he paid. It was known as the world's most expensive rental gun. No idea what happened to it as the field closed permanently years ago and I've no idea where the stock ended up.

This reminds me of a dude I met at Splatt Brothers in 2005 who had a pair of A-5s mounted to his chest with one of those hand cranks rigged to fire both triggers.
To be fair, he was playing a pilot a scenario game, and the whole set up allowed him to carry the pole indicating an "aircraft" with one hand, and shoot at other "aircraft" with the other, so it wasn't entirely impractical, but I still think that counts as the most ridiculous rig I'd ever seen.
I definitely had a 98 with an 18" boomstick ripoff from 32 degrees, and a "CAR" stock, myself.Dulce et decorum est pro comoedia mori

i guess we've all experienced the stupidity of those 98's with a long barrel and a stock.
i think the absurdity is partially cause that m16 style stock is perfect for getting in the way of your mask, and then you manage to make the 98 even longer.Formerly chodeyg, forgive me for growing sick of the username.

I've had some luck running dual Splatmasters, but that's mostly because I can holster one as soon as the newbies stop gawking and switch to it when the first one goes down.
What was your biggest hurdle with getting that sort of thing to work? Ball breaks in the chamber?

They don’t run good on any pressure source. Semi and 12g they shoot down like crazy. You have to shoot the 12g completely empty to change out. Mags have there own issues they need hard shell paint and light springs for regular paint or they dimple in the mags. Followers get stuck all the time if any paint or dirt get in them so you got to have perfect conditions or they work like crap. Even then they are finicky. I spent so much on “upgrades” that are supposed to GI this and that but just made them a more expensive paperweight. The reason people carry two is because one is likely to not work.
The First strike breach was cool on it. Most of the fields around me don’t allow them. I feel cheap using them like I’m cheating. They are silly accurate but most fields only allow them for Magfed only games. Those games have a super slow turnover generally and is not my crowd. So I try and avoid them.

Don't know if it belongs in this thread or not, but this is how I ran mine yesterday: https://i.postimg.cc/FFnNvYct/20200928-075515.jpg

I’d love to swap in an e-grip, but they seem to be scarce right now.
Edit: Found one at my local paintball shop. Way more usable than the RT grip. The downside is that I spent good money on this giant piece of junk that I’ll probably never use.Last edited by Ghost Flanker; 10-21-2020, 01:03 AM.

When I was 14 I made an L96 stock that bolted around my Spyder Compact. Then I made a barrel extension from a pringles can. Looked cool, actually ... worked like a 3 foot long Spyder.
