Well it looks like I didn't have a checkbox marked. Will see if it I get notifications now.

Where'd you find that? Old APG issue? Interwebz?

My vote's for dark on light as well. Even better would be armageddonsportz idea of the Combat Manual image with the filled-in white interior and a slim white border around the existing black one.

I'd buy one of Elliot's Splatty shirts if he made those available too - in a quickness.

Anyhow yeah Teespring you wouldn’t need an outside “store front” and you can offer a bunch of different print options as far as color and product. Super simple to set up. Printful on the other hand you need a host sight like Etsy etc to serve as your “store front”. Also you are correct, it would be on demand so it’s all on your time as far as when you want to purchase something etc. I am willing to help out wherever I can. Let me know and ElliotB that is some sick work yo. I would love to purchase something with that splat master design.
I didn't realize that comments don't show up in notifications. I'll try to do replies/quotes from now on unless it's just a silly little "I like that" comment.

If we can print on-demand, then Teespring sounds great. I fine with taking the lead or letting someone else do it. We could even have Elliot set up something for his stuff and then someone else set up something else with the combat manual shirt. I know this process will take a while, but I'm fine waiting and doing all the research so we can do it in a way that will get the most shirts out to the most people.

Ok, I've located what I think is the original "Combat Manual" cartoon, scaled it up and tweaked it for white on black printing.

It would be simple to export a hi res file with transparency for printing.

    What do you think?

    Hey rawbutter,

I was looking into this same thing. Big Cartel seems to be a very plausible solution as an e-commerce site, as it is very compatible with Printful. I'm delving deeper into it all, and trying to find out how the shipping fees are managed.

    Elliot,

It looks to me like if YOU set up the T-shirt on Printful with your Splatmaster design, you can actually sell the T-shirt for more than the cost of production. So if the shirt costs $12 to produce, but you set the price at $17, then they send you $5 for each shirt that we buy from the site.

It does seem, however, that you might need an online store first to link to the shirt design. There's probably a way around that, but you'll have to call or email with them.

Hmm......Maybe MCB can build a store on this site somewhere?

Printiful is pretty cool. Twas my first time looking at the site. I agree with you that "print on demand" would be the way to go. As for sale proceeds going to me... it would be nice, I'm cool with tips or marker parts lol, but just being able to spread the sport of "old school" paintball through means other than actually playing is a win in my book. I don't mind sharing my file with you or anyone else in this forum as long as its for personal use. I'll eventually do some kind of store, but most of my design work has been made for other companies.

I would buy a splatmaster design and the combat manual one. I agree it would be better if we could just order as we want them. Have them shipped separate as we order. Winters coming I would even buy a hoodie.

This is why I think that going the on-demand route is better than doing a group order. There are places that do this, like Printful. We design a shirt and set up everything with the website, and we post a link here (or somewhere on the site). Then everyone who wants one goes to the website themselves and orders it. The t-shirt is sent directly to them. No middle man. The shirts would be a little more expensive this way, but there would be no minimum order. No pre-orders. And no time limits.

Heck, I'd be willing to set it up myself. It doesn't seem that hard or time consuming. But I would need a high-def version of the image we want to use. And all the white bits needs to be transparent so it can be printed on non-white shirts.

I'd personally be down for a Combat Manual shirt or a shirt with that Splatmaster design that Elliot did. I'm only sad that Elliot wouldn't get any proceeds from the sale. Artists should be paid for their work.

Armageddon... Could we order shirts on teespring on an individual basis? Or would we need to do a group order
