Building a pump and curious about getting a pocket hopper. Having a bit of trouble rationalizing buying a jolo vs. the $8 GOG multical...

Is there a reference for all the available colors for the JOLO? I'm having trouble finding examples on the site. If I see a color I like I'm sure I'll end up buying one.

You can get an idea of the colors by looking at their website. They may not have pictures of JOLO's in every color available but they will have some kind of product in every color they have. Think of their wall mount, stick feeds, barrels, and all of the hoppers, not just JOLOs. You should be able to see each color available.
Trust me when i say you'll love the feed rate on the JOLO. I now own 10+ of them, (mostly black though)

I stick to Winchesters because as someone with a 3D printer of my own, the concept of being unable to print my own replacement parts is a problem for me.. I've talked to Benji about it before in the past about the possibility of creating and selling licensed .STL files but it went nowhere fast..

I have a couple spare winnys at this point so I think I'm good for the time being until I decide to model and print my own hopper some day

There is a winnie copy, and a pump hopper with a shelf in it on thingiverse.

Cool, I'll have to check those out, has been a minute since I've been on thingiverse

I wish he'd make them in some different sizes. I'd buy a 120 or a 160 in an instant.

You may like a VL-90 if you want something smaller than standard but over 50. Before I started using micro hoppers they were my go-to

Jolo works fantastic! Loads great and more durable than my winny. Benji is a dope dude too. I don’t think there’s much more to say 🤷🏻‍♂️

We got some bad ass Custom ones Benji made up for us too. It’s the best small cap hopper on the market. Worth every penny.

I think benji said 4 due to the way he prints them. Shoot him a message. He makes some super cool camo ones to. We ordered a bunch I got two myself for my Doc Double I still need to complete.

jonesey9041 Benjin prints is groups of 3. There is a fee for the initial design as well.

When I ordered the Ragnastock JOLOs it took about a month for design (and $100) then I ordered 15 of them for the guys. I think it worked out to be like $65 per because we broke then fee between them all. Benjin tossed a bunch of extra goodies, too

I haven't personally, but I have heard mixed results compared to the standard JOLO. Sounds like depending on how full it is impacts can break paint.

That would be my only concern with the soft shell. The thing I liked least about my Winchester was after taking a good shot it would break paint in the hopper. I put a ginger dynamic bounce cover on it and it greatly reduced the occasional paint breakage. The Winchester needs a ton of mods to feed even remotely close to the JoLo. Like I said I run these on my emeks. I got one for my wife’s emek to. Makes the emek Phantom light especially with a FS 17ci off the back. You can still hammer on the thing just like you would a powered hopper. The long stack and dimples around the feedneck make it feed like a boss. If you go with the JELO I recommend investing in a ginger dynamic bounce cover. They fit the shape well.

I have a JELO. No issues getting hit and breaking paint. The flexibility of it is minimal.

I have a JELO as well. I took a hit in the hopper and while the incoming shot bounced off - it broke my paint inside the hopper. So i only had a few more shots before i discovered the goopy mess inside.

honestly haven't been shot in the hopper yet with it. It's small, light, and feeds great though.

I created the precursor to the JOLO, the Geoff Box as it came to be named. I have been thinking about putting the STLs online for anyone to print. I need to talk to Benji first, as he does not know I’m thinking about it, unless he sees this post. Him and Joe fixed a lot of things I was too lazy to fix, as well as turn my creation into something way better than I could ever do. I’ll see what he says and share the files if he is cool with it.

When I was designing the Geoff Box, I made sure impact from 10ft away at 300fps was sustainable. I also wasn’t really selling them and would print new ones if someone had one break. PBSL made using the Geoff Box popular in SoCal.

All that said, I’m still only using what I created and have not played much since Benji came out with Jolos. I do love his designs and knowing his machines, his output is top notch. I am happy that I had a part in him starting a business on an idea I did not have time to commercialize. He has done a lot of cool things!
