All right ladies and gents, I can now Freak the Unfreakable.

I have about 20 of these backs finished to the point they can be fitted to any marker that needs it.

Keeping in mind these specific backs retain the insert from coming out the breech. They're mainly meant for guns like the Ranger and many Carter pumps, but could also be fitted to Raptors, Model 98s, and anything else that doesn't otherwise positively stop the insert.

If this is something you need, hit me up, and we can talk particulars.

    Doc.

    Update!

I have a post in a new thread in the Airsmiths' section about these barrels. I now have a small stash of "Blank" barrels ready to go, waiting to be threaded to whatever marker you might want them for.

I'm thinking I'll include a few basic 'Cocker thread ones in with my next batch of black anno, but the rest will be 100% made-too-order. Feel free to hit me up if you're interested!

    Doc.

I can see the added difficulty with a vector barrel being the front mount which hold the barrel in place. That is 3 tapped hole which may interfere with where the freak sits.

I’m never in a hurry these days about such things. I’ll work on the email after I carve these runes. Always the little accent tails that give me a dickens of a time.

-There's a complex process involving runes, candles, exotic incense, fasting, meditation and email. But it's mostly the email thing.

I still have some other parts to finish before I send this next batch off for anno, so the only thing I have on hand is bare aluminum. If you're not in too much of a hurry, I'm hoping to get the batch off this coming week, and then it should be three to six weeks to get 'em back.

-I have a Cobra on hand, it was my first gun too. As noted earlier, I was thinking of making a couple anyway. Ringed full-diameter tip and all. I was going to do those up as the Bulls, as in taking the XL inserts, simply so the back/tip seam isn't halfway down the pump.

Ranger should be easy, no fitting necessary, since those are, in fact, strictly 'Cocker threaded.

I've got my very first gun, a Brass Eagle Cobra sitting on the wall ready for a new barrel - I'll send you a PM. I also have a Ranger with a barrel I could send along...

    Loopy's Freaky Carter!

Sorry it took so long Löops, the gun itself has been done for a while, but it took longer than I expected to do up a short run of the L-stocks, since I had several standing orders for them. Got a PM heading your way with the details.

For everyone else, like my test piece earlier in the thread, it's basically a four piece barrel now- two parts to the back, the tip and an insert. The two back halves are lightly Loctited together, and don't really need to be disassembled- they should even be able to be anodized as one piece.

I've got Loopy's two Carters done, and have five more semi-finished backs that can be threaded to fit the marker of your choice. If you have something like a Ranger, I can just cut that to 'Cocker thread and send it, but if it's another Carter, just to be on the safe side those should probably be custom-fit. (Unless you're 100% positive it can take standard 'Cocker barrels.)

Not cheap as in under $200? Or over $200? I have an original bolt action Nelspot that I'm slowly piecing together, and the $200 or less option is not out of the question. Over $200 is still within realism for me. Just might take a minute to set funds aside.
