Was going through some files and forgot I had saved this old photo I had screen shotted years ago illustrating the strength of agd's carbon fiber trigger frames.

AKA took a little heat early for using coarser thread for the Excal feed necks, rather than the then-very-popular Angel threads. Everybody wanted the WDP threads because at the time, everyone was making dozens of different kinds of feed necks- tall, short, locking, clamping, etc, etc.
But, as well all know, fairly weak, with a bad habit of stripping out. AKA wanted a stronger thread, used it, and showed that pic/vid as a demo.
AGD had the above Miata photo because people didn't like the "plastic" frames- they wanted the metal frames, either the potmetal, or milled aluminum. Both of which would have been more expensive, and would have raised the price of the marker. Tom put that photo together to show the "carbon fiber" frames were just as strong- or at least strong enough to withstand hard play.
(He also tested the L10 bolt against his own tongue. I don't know if that video is still up anywhere, but I know between that and the rolled dollar bill, I was convinced. )
