After moving to Virginia, I started frequenting a particular field that has been around since 1990. It's technically the second closest to where I live, the other being less than an hour but only open Saturdays and this one is open Sat + Sun and met some folks who regularly play. Well the owners announced rather suddenly they were retiring and that was that. I was bummed. But then weeks later, their Facebook photo changes and includes the Cousin's logo... interesting. Long story short, Cousin's took over this field and I am super happy about that. Haven't been able to play there since this change, but I'm just happy they aren't going away forever.

Way back when (almost 20 years ago!?) my local field went down because of some shadiness and became property of AKALMP. There were rumors that our field might come back. Unfortunately it never happened.
Fast forward to today and we have a few options around so I feel fairly lucky... Just have to will myself to go play. =P -
