The end of almost three decades

Well, just sent every paintball related item I had other than some tools and my reg. cards and some patches down the road. I had been holding out hope that I might play again, but alas, the old body says it is to be no more.

I had a hell of a good time in this sport and met a lot of fine folks, and then promptly tried to shoot them in the face. Woodsball, speedball, airball, urban settings like MOUT, great fields all over the Southeast and East Coast in general. I have led the sides of teams to victory and shared in defeat. I have stood on the podium and gone home head hung low. Been on both sides of the welt. There are a lot of cherished memories, and I am going to (try to) remember it fondly.


Thanks a lot to my paintball friends and family. Been some damned fine times.

sad to see you go, but it doesn't have to be the end!
you can always get some kind of spacegun and just hose paint from the back, a lot of our old school players do that at supergame and they have a good time!

Sorry to hear that, bud. I second what SniperPedik said. If it's not fun anymore, though, then definitely time to hang up your valves. I'm glad we got to trade shots on the field!

Its been some time since I got to see you. I only wish now id been able to hang out with you at the field more.


Life has been crazy busy for the last few years, just recently got back into paintball after about a 6 year break.

But, I seems my knowledge still has some value, so I remain available here to provide.

Good luck to you and your future endeavors. I've been at it for 35 years and rapidly approaching 58 this year. I can not do what I was able to but still the heart wants to play so I keep playing. I hope you kept a basic kit just incase but regardless enjoy your future.

Always sad to see MCB members leaving the sport. But as other mentionned you know where to find us if you decide to play one more time in a couple of year. Just for the fun of hanging out on the field.
