"Rockin' Cocks"

Last time I played there was a guy part of a walk on group wearing his own gear but using rental gun. He had a shirt on that said "Rockin' Cocks" with a chicken head logo of some sort and the back said something like "still hurting feelings".

That sounded awful lot like something stock class related. Later on he saw my Phantom and mentioned he also has one he brought but isn't in working order and that he used to be on an all pump team. Super cool. Curious if anyone here was on this team before, in Virginia, and is looking to get back at it.

Funnily enough, I texted Jonnydread last week and was like, “Rockin’ Cocks” for a pump team! Then I googled it and found one thing on the internet and it was a thread here, just about their team shirt. So, that basically killed that idea… but anyways… now I really can’t use it with this new fresh thread .


side story: one time I played a scenario game at Fox4 in Upton, MA (rip) and there were three guys doing noticeably better than everyone else. They simply wore white tshirts that said “Asstastic” in a fairly boring font across the chest. Never saw them before or again. Maybe after locating Rockin’ Cocks, we can find Asstastic though.

Wow nice find! Super cool there was a big pump group like that out here. It's pretty dead now but I'm doing what I can

I also play as much pump as I can. I am still hopeful to connect with you as you aren’t too far from my home fields of Pevs and Hogback. Today’s paint quality makes pump even more challenging but it is always fun to “hurt feelings” on the field.

I believe they may have disbanded as I haven’t seen their presence much aside from the random sightings mentioned in the OP. One member moved very far from their home field to Australia and posted a few YT videos of their jersey collection. They seemed like dedicated and talented pump players. I never met any of them personally nor play with any one of them (that I’m aware). I hadn’t thought about them in awhile.

Thanks to CheapChi for sharing that old site, super cool to see how good they were doing. What I also find awesome is they had 'MCB" on their jerseys as one of their sponsors. I found a somewhat active Facebook group as well.

I remember those guys. I know I played against them at various pump/ grav events back when the Rubber Ducks were more active in the North East. Good group of ballers from what I remember. I remember them being more of southern group but I definitely remember the logo and seeing them at a lot of big events.

RC used to be pretty active on here back in the day. I am friends with a few of them, the team kind of drifted apart as guys got older/moved away, etc.

Still have a hurtin feelings shirt tucked away in a drawer somewhere.
