Meeting OG's at the field

I love when other old skoolers show up to the field that you've never met. I don't know if this guy (Bobby) is on MCB, so if you are sorry I stole this photo from your post tagging our field, but I was blown away when this guy was rocking a really cool old Mag. He also had a super cool older Angel. He mentioned he has a ton of old school cool markers, with only a few actually working of course 🤣. Always great playing alongside the OG's, sharing stories from the past and deep diving into gear anecdotes.

We are spoiled in the Northeast in terms of running into OGs, but I still seem to stumble upon new old school faces all the time! capitalpaintball and I were at an event last month and saw a dude rocking a minimag and immediately started to jive with him.

Every now and then I'll see something cool floating around. The local field is one of the bigger ones in the province, so it attracts people from all over.

A favourite interaction for me was when a father and son came out, the son shooting the dads old classic mag, and the dad shooting his old Angel that he had jerry rigged some of those vape batteries to and TAPED THEM TO THE BODY. I really wish I took a picture. Since then he's picked up an emek.

My field is mostly modern stuff. After hitting the field for only 3 times I’m got a rep for having the old and odd stuff. I usually rotate through my collection so bring something different every time as well. Decent group of pumpers at least. Seen a few Phantoms, CCMs, Snipers etc

Hearing an oldmarker on the field is an OG mating call. The next 3 games are spent talking about old APG issues, marker rebuilds, and asking if they're on MCB.
