These days I have really condensed how much I bring to the field. I try to separate tuning and tinkering from playing days. There's been too many hours wasted in the chrono that I could have been on the field. With that being said, I bring my Volcano 2.0 expand backpack. I'll stick a longer marker such as a Cocker or Phantom in a Redz neoprene sleeve and put it on top of the gear in my backpack. Additionally I carry a reusable grocery bag for water and paint.

I try to do the same. The last time I went out, I just had bad luck all around. 2 Phantoms with loose TPC's at the same time, I never could have seen that coming πŸ˜†

Man, that's a lot of equipment. I usually roll in with a folding crate and a personal cooler.

It's not really that much. The bottom has masks and tanks and other soft gear, the middle is full of tubes, and the top is for tools and misc small parts, also freak inserts and CO2.

JeeperCreeper That makes sense. Those items are pretty bulky. I usually have one, maybe 2 guns with me. Just got tired of hauling more stuff to troubleshoot lol.

I tend to bring lots of extra Sheridan stuff with me, just in case someone at the field needs something, other than that I bring gear that I'm going to use.

After years of trying everything I have finally decided I found what I like for now. I have been using a redz backpack and laptop backpacks. Since most games are 2 day games (1 being semi & 1 being pump) I set up the bags accordingly. Hoppers and tanks plus misc gears goes I a small bin. So hopefully all I need is one bag and the bin. Still working on the setup. Also forces me to pack light. No need to bring 10 guns and always use the emag.

For stock class I've got a rifle bag that's got alot of pockets. Fits the long guns and my pgp and most of the gear.

I ended up with an older Empire gearbag. These things swollen up a massive amount of gear. I used to uses bins and would bring 4-5 each time. ( the joy of a pickup truck!).

I have a divided tool bag that holds 3 marker, and the the Empire bag handled most my gear and accessories and the I have a bag for air tanks that has pouches on the outside that fit 13/3000 air tanks.

i just ended up with a Dye Navigator and an NXE executive bag from a friend that might buy off them. Need to sell all the crap inside first though!

        Planet Eclipse rolling bag.

I find it to be a double-edged sword. On one hand, it forces me to really consider what I bring. I try to make everything (and I mean everything) fit into one bag. Which is nice β€˜cuz there’s not much to go through at the end of the day.
On the other hand, it also forces me to only take certain (read: most reliable) markers, not allowing me to use my lesser-used pieces. And I’ve worked hard to condense what I take, so I really don’t want to add another bag or tote. I like not having much to go through when the day is done, but…

Perhaps I’ll add a tote just for soft gear. That might be a good compromise.

EDIT: For storing & transporting pods I use a cardboard wine bottle shipping box. Had the dividers, which really helps. You could probably get them easily & for nothing from a liquor shop.

Soft gear I just throw in a construction garbage bag. After I wash my gear I flip the bag inside out so it says dry and don’t get funky. I use to throw it all in a bag anyway push the air out of it and put it in a gear bag. Then I realized the extra step was pointless. Makes carrying it in to wash easy and keeps my car clean.

the 'just turn em inside out, good
for another month' trick works great with socks and underwear as well

It's worth noting the last time I played, I brought my old Etek (with attached Rotor and slightly-expired Flatline) my goggles (old Spectras) and a headwrap.

          That's it.

Played in my street clothes, bought paint from the field, never needed a squeegee, and the games were small and quick enough that just a hopper could last two games.

Oh, there's a whole operation just getting my gear in/out of my car. I regularly bring 5-10 full setups to the field, so I can kit out any newbies or anyone with a gun that breaks down on them.

I have primarily used several military equipment bags, and a smattering of gun bags for the individual guns. What I really would like, however, is a sort of carrying case that allows me to fully assemble the kits the evening before, so I can just gas them up straight out of the bag at the field. As of now, I have to be quite early to the field to get all the kits chronoed and fully operational.

I know this pain. It’s a ton of work getting people set up and ready. This is why I always miss the first game.

Trips. I make lots of them. It sucks.
I've been wanting to get one of those foldable metal or canvas wagons, but I'm kinda hesitant to leave all of my backups unattended, so I make another trip, ad nauseum.

I'm still using an Empire bag that I bought off a guy at CLP indoor at least 10 years ago. I'm pretty sure I'm using few other items still from that same gearbag lot. Unfortunately, over half the zippers have failed and the seamstress shops I went to said they couldn't fix them. I've bought and tried a few other bags, but I haven't found anything I like nearly as much as the Empire. It was my first upgrade from a duffel bag and it will be a sad day when the last zipper fails.

My main bag is a large Push roller bag with the backpack straps (I got it light used at a steep discount). The combination of wheels and backpack straps is really nice given how muddy fields can be. I also have to go up a flight of stairs in the house and the straps make that a lot easier.

Then I have a laundry bag for clothes, water, and pods. Lastly I have a big lunchbox cooler for paint.

I use an eclipse roller bag. I kinda want to downsize to one of those vulcano bags that chucklove has, but it’s hard to justify the price tag just because it takes up less space in my closet.

I got to mess around with a Milwaukee packout that my buddy uses for fixing stuff around the house and decided I needed one for paintball. I used to lug three or four duffel bags from the car to the field. Now I have a Milwaukee packout with wheels and paintball days are so much easier. All kinds of parts and tools neatly partitioned off, deep enough boxes so I don't worry about masks getting scratched or crushed. I have started adding more gear though, makes me think I need a second packout. My SSR has its own rifle case which is rather large and unwieldy but I only bring it with me on special occasions.

The Milwaukee set is much nicer than my Husky set, and alot more box options. The price tag also reflects the quality difference. I'm looking at some of those for work, as this Husky box wouldn't hold up to the abuse, let alone hold all my tools.

Added a 2 drawer box to my setup. I'm gonna get some pluck foam and set these in here nice and snug. Added bonus is a nice tool tray up top to take things apart, complete with multiple screw compartments. I can even stand next to it and it's the perfect height, or I can take it to a table and work there. My stack is complete.
