Oh lets see...
Barrel inserts are the greatest barrel tech innovation ever. Heck, I once went an entire summer and didn't even have to adjust my velocity on my main gun even once, since every batch of paint had the exact same barrel fit (blowgun test, call it a "slight" overbore for the caliper crowd).
Hoseless designs are a downgrade. For the money a lot of guns cost they should do everything I want them to do, and that includes universal aftermarket accessory compatibility.
I look at prices from the bottom up, not the top down. So to me sub $200 is low end, $200-$500 is mid range, and over $500 is high end. $1500 guns are expensively irrelevant and don't even factor into the comparison (I have no desire to ever spend that much on a single paintball purchase, there's always three $500 gun, or five $300 guns I'd rather buy). You call a $900 gun a "mid range" and I actually feel a little insulted.
Airball fields don't need a snake. And if all you can think of to do with the doritos is to put them in a line on the opposite side of that optional snake then you're a bad field designer.
X-ball never needed the giant X in the middle. What, you think the players were going to forget which format they were playing?
Anything customized to the owner is inherently better than out of the box.
On a forum a picture thread that contains only stock unmodified guns is pointless. I can just look at a catalog for that.
Flex 7's are kind of meh. Yeah, I said it. I like the look of the Flex 8 better, but when I go to play I will be grabbing my Profilers. And the Grill is just too expensive for a mask that doesn't even fit right on me.
Masks have visors. No exceptions.
There is no such thing as too much hopper. You stick a Rotor on your tippmann and you will have a good day.
On-line package deals where they match a harness that lets you carry 600 rounds, plus 200 in your gun, with a tank that only holds 400 shots drive me nuts.

Autocockers are way too expensive. (But damn I love them)
Shooting high BPS is fun as hell!!! But the worst thing for actually playing and enjoying paintball.
Magfed players are this decade's "woodsball is better than speedball" people.
This forum gained a lot of drama after the hack.

Paintball was better when it was violent.
There's no real reason to own an electro anymore, 10.5 just isn't that hard on a good mech.
Scenarios were better with paintball on Friday nights and a Saturday night game.
Speedball would be a lot better if they played stock class.
PVC launchers are perfectly safe.
tournament leagues are pyramid schemes.
First strikes are bad.
I should build a private field for regular stock class events...
