I don't keep a very large collection. I don't deal with unicorns, so nothing is "worth hanging on to" if I don't use it. And if I have kept it this long, it's not worth money, like my pile of Ions that I don't use. I love my brass, they always work for me. I also have a Phantom built up for days I don't want to play single shot. My Spyder pump is rock solid now, great for open class play (I just run a tank and stick feed)

I do keep an extra Phantom, and a few PGPs on hand for loaners. I'll also let certain people use my personal single shot PGPs, and I'd let most people use anything that I have thats "user friendly." Just the last time out, I let a kid borrow my built Phantom so he could try stock class. He had a great time.

I have way too many markers in my collection. Some people collect stamps or comics or baseball cards. I just have been collecting paintball guns. Still have my first two I used from 1987. PGP and Nelspot. I don't play much anymore so I should probably sell some lol. I'm working on pics for the Collector's Corner. Here's a few:

I'm in this spot right now. I'm not interested in messing around with paintguns at the field or the night before. I just want to go out there & shoot people in the face. I'm now seeing all the things that I've had for years & never worked on. The only one I've worked on a bunch in the last year is my Pro Carbine, which now gets the majority of my on-field use. I'm now getting a bunch of stuff ready to put up for sale. I'm probably going to knock myself down to 5-7 paintguns, from over 20. I'm going to use what I'm going to use, and that's all I should really need. My Trilogy, Pro Carbine, Emek & sniper are the best paintguns for me. That's what I'm keeping around, along with maybe my Trracer & Etek5.

This is also coinciding with my recently-much-increased interest in regular pump play. I need to change stuff up, and a purge is what I need. Go back to basics, to what works- and shoot people in the face.

The funny thing is, back when I first started playing I had 2-3 paintguns at any given time, that's it. I've been thinking about that & wondering how I made that work... And then it hit me- I can still make it work & there's no reason I can't. That's been a bit of a motivator as well.

I think I'm going to take a good long look at what I've amassed, see if it's something I'll realistically use and go from there. Some markers are pretty cool and fun to own, but realistically I'm not going to use them given how I play. I was starting to run out of space on my pegboard anyways.

I got rid of almost everything. Kept my outfit and my chronograph, and maybe a 100 paintballs. Also kept a barrel from a ICD Bushmaster 2000 by mistake. .

You will feel so much better without the burden that a bunch of old gear brings. .

Problem is I've gone from having a bunch of old gear to having some nice mid-level stuff. I have the odd beater kicking around, but my main collection is decent, so makes the decision more difficult.
