    First day stock class

After my return to paintball with a many, many year hiatus and picking up a pair of phantoms over the last few months I finally committed to playing an entire day stock class. What fun! I had an absolute blast and was getting about 35-39 shots before velocities started to drop enough for me to notice. My 11 inch freak barrel, once paint matched was an absolute delight on my VSC set up. My only complaint is it was so light I had trouble stabilizing for super long shots. Unfortunately, I think that any stock would be too long and unwieldy for my micro dinosaur arms, might have to look into a custom option, but by and large, it was absolutely a blast!

The cci adjustable stocks get quite short.
But DocsMachine makes nice l-stocks and I bet he would make one to your desired length if you are patient.

Always nice to hear people enjoying stock class!

I wish I could find somebody local who had some for me to try out. If only I could have made it to stocktoberfest!

We got a guy that flys up 2x a year to play Slims from
        FL.

CCI T-stocks can be shorter than you'd think. The overall length of my phantom w/ T-stock is only slightly longer than one of my snipers w/ a 13ci tank. I'm referring to the length between the frame and where it would meet your shoulder.

“Practice” isn’t something a person can buy with money so getting a stock is often the more popular option.

I’m not saying the gun is currently perfect for you, I’m just saying that you’ll never totally master a gun that’s constantly changing.

Zeta, you ain’t wrong, I’ve used the same gun for my whole time playing paintball. Stock class phantom with a mini tank on a rear asa. This VSC true stock class is so new, I just normally have something small to brace against

Booska, that’s good data, I always thought the 13ci was just a hair too long. I run like a 6ci

I definitely need something to shoulder with my Phantom. I believe due to the Phantom being such a light weight setup. I just find it’s less stable without a stock.

I have single shot brass pistol that I can place shots you would never expect to land. I really think the heft of the brass really helps stabilize the shot without a stock.

Try hitting up Doc see if he can make you a stock to the length you want. T stock gets pretty short honestly you should try one fully collapsed. It’s to short for me may mask nose bumps the valve body when aiming with one fully collapsed.

But welcome to Stock Class you ever get a chance to get up this way for one of our two day events in Wear NH. You would love Slims. It’s just the best dam paintball you can play. From single shot quick draw, to the custom brass, classic stock Class goods, custom tailored paintball gear, good food and drink, camping on site, legends in the sport, BST with all kinds of cool stuff for sale. We have players flying and driving from all over to play. Definitely worth the travel if you can swing it.

Yeah, I’ve already told my wife. I’m marking it on the calendar for next year.

Welcome back and welcome to the awesome world of stock class. I agree with all the comments above and i have my guns all set up with the same stock except my phantom but its the same length. Set it where your comfortable and it becomes natural shouldering with practice. Glad to hear your putting slims on the calendar,it’s worth the trip. Good luck out there.

From rear of frame to the base of my tank is about 10.5 inches, would anyone with a t stock fully collapsed be able to measure and post a picture for me? I would really appreciate it

Unrelated, to the request but, get one of these and side-saddle a lever changer. 😉

Carp, I just saw those lever changers, I have a horrible feeling I’ll be pinching my Pennie’s for all the cool stock class gear I want. After playing for a little more than a decade with modified stock class I can’t believe it took me this long.

10.5” long fully collapsed. So off the back of the frame it’s about 9.5” bolted up. You would need a different frame to use the T stock on that grip or the piece that fits inside of that grip. I might have a mount for that grip frame.

I think a T stock will mount closer to the marker than your current setup honestly.

it will also allow you to get behind the marker more I find this makes it much easier to aim then a back bottle setup.

This is my stock class set up, with the .45 frame I can just bolt it right to it?
