Disruptive barrels are now very cheap

Figured I'd share what I discovered a few months ago: Disruptive dropped their prices quite a bit on all their barrel stuff. Death Touch backs are $12, tips are $15, and the 15" one piece barrels are $15. Some bores/colors out of stock, but still have quite a bit left. This ain't no black Friday deal, seems like they've been trying to get rid of stock.

Also just a heads up: if it takes a little while for your order to ship, don't worry. It will ship and you will likely get some extra free goodies.

Anyone have experience with the tighter bores on a 98? I have been thinking about a tighter bore barrel for my daughters 98 as it’ doesn't like to get above 260ish with most paint. I usually stay away from anything smaller then 686 on tippys since the bolt enters the barrel and I’ve seen barrels that appear to be well made that cause bolt stick. Anyone used the disruptive 676/682 range on a 98 and how did it go? I was looking for something shorter than 15 inches but at $15 this might be a good option.

I've been reading that you can chamfer the bolt face to help eliminate this issue? Would that be an option?

Meh, not one I’m fond of. I’d just rather buy a barrel that’s made right. The bolt enters the barrel on every 98 threaded gun. But this might be cheap enough option regardless. 98 bolts certainly aren’t scarce.

The older balance barrels are even cheaper. The backs are a bit shorter and they don't go quite as smal, but the backs are $10, tips are $5.

As a fervent believr in TOOB IS TOOB, Inception trying to transition to the PWR barrel, so they're liquidating old stock. These Disruptive barrels came out over 10 years ago. There was an initial flood of interest and then they were forgotten, mostly because they were a small unknown company and that 10 years ago no one was upgrading their barrel.
