Do People Still Play Paintball?

I probably play 7-8x per year. Pretty regularly over the warmer months from May thru October out in the woods about an hour away. I also found that my local field has special pricing in Black Friday, so I pull a crew together for that, and then there’s the big scenario game every spring.

The local field has Thomas Taylor hanging around some. His son plays locally, and TT coaches some of the lower division teams so there’s a decent amount of interest in the area. Wish it were stronger, but that’s why I host games in the woods - to get more people introduced to a niche sport. My son is 18 and trying to keep up w him keeps me on my toes.

I don't play nearly as much as I would like to, but I get in a game now and then. Mostly its lack of money, or if I do have the money its lack of time and lack of a body that's not worn out from earning said money. The field I play at usually is hopping when the weather is good, and its mostly teens and twentysomethings...which is a good thing to see. It means paintball isn't done connecting with the youth.
