Oh another detail I keep forgetting about is I have a trilogy that I can easily convert to a pump. I was thinking of just going with with that but I really like the play style and aesthetic of vsc guns

Update! I played with the Phantom for the first time today. And I had a great time. It was a fun challenge and I really enjoyed getting some eliminations. Makes every kill worth way more. I also enjoyed the play style that it forces you to play I know I couldn’t go one on one with electro guns so I had to move around and create the angles. Definitely needed to remember to hold the pump handle and not having a stock was good and bad. Probably will either try getting a stock or setting up a bottom line with a small tank.

Having something to shoulder the marker is pretty necessary, imho. Unless you're running around with a PGP, or something, a pump just doesn't feel right to me without a stock.
Some of my best memories playing are when I'm the last person left on my team, it's a 1v1 situation, and my opponent has an electro. I still haven't come out on top in that situation, but the rush is unbelievable.

Littlle late to this conversation but so glad you decided to go with a pump. I personally delayed playing stock class for 14 years as a open class player. Stock class is a huge part of my play now and love all of pump play options. Welcome aboard and best of luck. Now show others the way and spread the amazing roots of our sport.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but phantoms usually need ~800psi when running HPA. Most 13ci tanks you can buy nowadays aren't going to be close to that with the generic regulator that it'll come with.
I threw a basic ninja reg on one of my 13ci tanks and shimmed it to output ~825psi. Works great on my phantom.
