A post on Reddit drew my attention to this thing.
I knew about the old WGP Worr Machine blowbacks and never thought much of them, but this thing seems VERY different.
The manual has a schematic but there's not a good indication of how the 3-way valve that appears to be behind the trigger works or what it does. There's an input regulator but the trigger valve taps off gas UPSTREAM of the reg?! More confusingly, the one Youtube video I was ale to find of one working shows it having a FASOR-like return spring in front of the bolt which isn't depicted in the manual, AND the bolt appears to be biased forward when degassed, which would be the opposite of how I know FASOR guns to behave. On top of that, it appears you can short-stroke the trigger, and all the dwell is mechanically set?
I'm totally baffled here.
According to the comments in the video the gun IS electric, contrary to the manual and diagram, and he says he's seen multiple variations of "solenoids" in the guns, so perhaps these are prototypes where they were going in a different direction than at first thought?
