    .677, .679, .682, .684
    Teal, Silver, Yellow and Orange
    in a pbDNA 4x case

ive been able to grab multiples in each of those for my loaners and never needed anything larger or tighter.

i always put a handful of balls through starting with biggest. if a few go thru the next size down but every once in a while its too tight, ill size up.
worth the occasional rollout to avoid any potential chops. Usually wont break paint in the barrel more than 2x per case this way.
now, my loners getting short stroked by the fools i let use em? different story. and if im short on the correct size, allll the loaners are getting .684

my snipers seem to shoot best with .679 overall,
    openclass phantoms with .682
and my stock class stuff with .677

i like the purple/gold striped graffiti best when its available. seems most consistently round, small bore and heavily filled. not super thin shell but i dont usually have issues with bounced shots. my priorities are avoiding breaking paint in the guns, rollouts, accuracy in that order
hard to miss if you can close the gap and only have to make a shot from 15ft away!
    🙂

I use the field one barrel and really like it - that said I pay no attention to numbers, and it takes a game or two sometimes to get the right insert. I always start with the blow test and that gets me close. if the paints wonky I'll have to go up a size or two. some days the old cocker is just not having it regardless of insert and I grab my EMEK (which I might just switch to permanently as its just so frickin' nice to shoot). My trusty palmers .689 wedgited barrel is just to heavy anymore, even through it will solve the problem for the cocker.

Overbore to .689 everyday, all day. Efficiency be damned. My air-tank shoots more than the pods I carry anyways.

I think this is the attitude all sane people eventually settle on. Stop them from rolling out with a wedgit or nail polish or tape…then call it good. Go play.

Use freeqs if you went to, but the problem with phreeeekz is they they don’t reliably stop rollouts. A perfectly round tube only grips a perfectly round paintball and those don’t exist so on all my guns I’d need a fweeeck IN ADDITION to the tape or whatever and frankly thats just too much messing around with crap. Fuck that shit.

I only used three inserts or bore sizes spaced about .004 or .005 inches apart, e.g. 677 682 687

90% of the time, I am in the “medium” size

I remember when I started pump...I didn't even think about a barrel kit at the time I just ran whatever I wanted and just kept my marker up if I knew I had a ball chambered or I would just shoot before I dropped my marker down now I'm older and got money to actually build guns so why not get a nice barrel

When I was playing with my PGP the other day I legit just made sure I didn't chamber a round until I had to shoot. Good thing they're rock back
