One last paintball day for 2020

Supposed to be almost 50 degrees this Sunday here in Illinois. And With the battle of hoth scenario game in February that i want to attend. i really want to go out to my local rec ball field and get my cocker running aswell as my stingray 2 ice. That and I haven't played since july and really need the fun RN. .

Anybody else here with the desire to end the year spending it doing exactly what this site is about?

I thought the site was for collecting old paintball related stuff and smack talk. We are expected to actually play?

Yeah the outdoors are dirty and sunburns suck. I’ll stick to buying and collecting...

I'll be out at my local field rocking a bunch of new gear and blowing through the last of my Valken Graffiti. Also, my ID Emek Scout body just arrived yesterday after a month of being held hostage by USPS. Lastly, all the snow just washed away in the rain and high 50* temps here in New England. Should be a fun time.

I'm dragging my brother along tomorrow for one last day at the field this year. Going to hit it at least monthly next year.

Last weekend I went out to try out a Torque. First time in five years my Phantom didn't leave the bag. (The level of competition may have played a part in that, too.)

It's the main upside to Dallas. It's warm enough to play in December, most weeks. The downside is that June through October isn't even an option most weeks.

How did you like the Torque? I have one and have shot it some targets but haven't played any points with it. IMO-shoots great but a bit loud.

Humid is all relative. Better than Houston, worse than Phoenix. But 100 is 100.

I played some woodsball on the 19th at a local field I haven't visited in a few years. It was only me an one other guy who played regularly. There was a large group of guys who I assumed were coworkers because they seemed so tight knit, but were actually part of a men's drug recovery program. They were the nicest group of walkons I've ever played with, and super upfront about their struggles and how much they liked the program they were all in together. It ended up being unexpectedly touching. My favorite RT Classic and my Emek put in some good work too! It was also great being able to use camouflage in the woods and actually stalk people. I've been playing mostly airball/hyperball for a few years now, but I love being in the woods.

It was 65* and sunny in Phoenix today. Perfect paintball weather. And none of that Texas humidity crap.

I played yesterday with our usual outlaw group. Chilly and some wicked winter sun, but it was a fun day with some great shootouts. Ate some smoked wings and still-mooing steak after with the crew so it was a great day.

This thread is making me nostalgic for the New Years game I used to throw. We played on the first at my in-laws starting in 05/06 and it went for almost 10 years. We usual had about 10 folks. Sometimes it was 60* and sometimes it was 6* Lol. Lots of good memories.
